How to Connect a Dummy Email Address for Testing in Kolleno

Admins can connect a test inbox via Email Profiles > Select profile > Connect > Kolleno Email Account.

Who can do this? Only users with Admin access.
Purpose: This is helpful for testing automations or email flows if you don't have a test inbox email account you can use for testing.

Steps to Connect a Dummy Email

  1. Go to Settings
    In the top-left, click on your company name, and select 'Settings'

  2. Navigate to Emails

  3. Choose or Create a Profile

  4. Connect the Inbox

    • On the right, under Connect new inbox, choose Kolleno Email Account.

    • Click the Connect button.

  5. Assign a Dummy Email
    During the setup, a dummy email will be created on the domain name @accounts-kolleno.com

  6. Save and Verify
    Once connected, you’ll see the profile status update to Connected.


Note: This email address can now be used to simulate sending/receiving messages within the platform for QA, training, or workflow validation.

If you need to disconnect or change the inbox later, just go back to the profile and click Inbox settings.
