When managing your tasks in Kolleno, you have the option to automatically dismiss all tasks for a customer when you dismiss just one task. This time-saving feature can be helpful in certain workflows, but it's important to understand how it works to avoid accidentally dismissing tasks you still need to action.
How the Auto-Dismiss Setting Works
When this setting is enabled, dismissing any single task (email, note, or other action) for a customer will automatically dismiss all other pending tasks for that same customer.
You dismiss ONE task for a customer (e.g., an email, note, or any action)
ALL OTHER pending tasks for that same customer are automatically dismissed as well
This happens immediately.
All dismissed tasks move to Archives
Before dismissing email:
Before dismissal: Multiple tasks visible for customer "Aqua" including emails, notes, and promise to pay records
When this setting is disabled (default), dismissing one task only dismisses that specific task. Other tasks for the same customer remain visible. Learn more about dismissing individual tasks.
Impact on Promise to Pay
When the auto-dismiss setting is enabled, dismissing tasks will also dismiss any active Promise to Pay records for that customer.
How it works:
You dismiss ONE task for a customer
ALL pending tasks for that customer are dismissed
ALL active Promise to Pay records for that customer are also dismissed
All dismissed items move to Archives
Before dismissing
After dismissing any task of the customer:
