Using Rolling Dates in Scheduled Reports

Keep your recurring scheduled reports always up to date by using rolling date presets instead of fixed date ranges.

When scheduling a recurring report in Kolleno, date filters are normally saved as fixed date meaning every future run of the report will always reference the same date range you set at the time of scheduling.

The Rolling Dates toggle solves this. When enabled on a recurring report that uses preset date filters (such as "This Week" or "Last Month"), Kolleno will automatically recalculate the date range each time the report runs so your report always reflects the most recent period, with no manual updates needed.

How to Enable Rolling Dates on a Scheduled Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left-hand navigation.

  2. Open the report you want to schedule, or create a new one.

  3. Apply a Preset Date filter to the report (e.g. "Today", "Last Week", "This Month", "Last Month").

  4. Click Send to open the Send modal.

  5. Toggle Recurring to ON and configure your schedule (frequency, recipients, etc.).

  6. Once Recurring is enabled, the Rolling Dates toggle will appear enable it.

  7. Review your settings and click Schedule to save.

Important: The Rolling Dates toggle is only available when Recurring is ON and a Preset Date filter has been applied. It will not appear for one-off sends or when calendar date ranges are used.
