Overview

Kolleno provides four filters to help you find contacts based on their date activity:

Filter Name

Description

Input Type

Contact date created

The exact date (UTC timezone) when the contact was added to the system

Date picker

Contact days since created

Number of days since the contact was created

Number

Contact date modified

The exact date (UTC timezone) when the contact was last updated

Date picker

Contact days since last modified

Number of days since the contact record was last changed

Number

Date-Based Filters

Contact date created / Contact date modified

These filters allow you to find contacts based on specific dates using a date picker.

Example Use Cases:

  • Find all contacts created after 1st January 2025

  • Find contacts modified between 1st November 2024 and 31st December 2024

  • Identify contacts that were created before your latest campaign launch

Days-Based Filters

Contact days since created / Contact days since last modified

These filters calculate the number of days that have passed since the contact was created or last modified, making them ideal for dynamic, relative filtering that updates automatically.

Example Use Cases:

  • Find contacts created less than 30 days ago (new contacts)

  • Identify contacts not updated in more than 90 days (potentially stale records)

  • Target contacts created exactly 7 days ago for a follow-up campaign

  • Find contacts modified less than or equals 14 days for recent activity review

Tips

  • Days-based filters are dynamic: A filter set to "less than 30 days" will always show contacts from the last 30 days, even as time passes.

  • Date filters are static: A filter set to "after 1st January 2025" will always use that exact date.

  • Combine these filters with other contact attributes (e.g., name, email status) to create powerful segments.
