The Customers table has two optional note columns, Latest note and Latest manual note. They show the most recent note for each customer, so you can see the latest update or conversation without opening each customer’s timeline.
Where to find it
Go to Customers from the main menu.
In the top right corner of the table, select Filters & Columns.
Under the Columns tab, tick Latest note, Latest manual note, or both.
The selected columns are added to your Customers table.
Exporting
When you export the Customers table, the export includes the note columns you have selected. For more info please see How to Create an Export of Your Customers Page.
Things to note
Both columns are hidden by default. Each user can turn them on in their own table view.
The columns show the most recently updated note. If you edit an older note, it becomes the latest note.
Notes with no text are skipped, for example a note that only contains an attachment. The column shows the latest note that has text.
You can’t sort or filter the Customers table by these columns.
If the columns don’t appear in your column list, reset your table view. See Table Views: Reset Required After Column Changes.
The Invoices table has its own Latest note column for invoice notes. See How to view the latest note directly from the invoice table.
