What connecting DocuSign enables
Connect DocuSign to send documents stored in Kolleno for certified e-signature without leaving the app. Kolleno tracks the signing status and stores the signed PDF and audit trail in the customer’s Files tab.
Envelopes use your existing DocuSign account and count toward your DocuSign plan allowance.
Before you connect
You must be a Kolleno Admin. The E-Signature settings are visible only to admins.
You need a DocuSign account.
The person connecting the account must be a DocuSign account administrator.
Use a shared or service account if possible. The account that grants consent is the account Kolleno uses to send envelopes.
Connect your account
Go to Settings → E-Signature.
On the DocuSign card, click Connect.
Sign in to DocuSign and review the requested access.
Approve the connection. DocuSign returns you to Kolleno.
Confirm that the DocuSign card shows Connected and the account name.
This authorization is one-time. You do not need to repeat it for each document or customer.
Connection statuses
Connected | Kolleno can send envelopes through the connected DocuSign account. |
Consent required | Consent is missing or was withdrawn. Click Reconnect and approve access again. |
Invalid | DocuSign refused the last request. Review the message, then click Reconnect. |
Test or disconnect the connection
Test connection checks the stored authorization immediately.
Disconnect removes the connection and credentials stored by Kolleno. Existing DocuSign envelopes and signed files are kept, but new requests cannot be sent until you reconnect.
After connecting DocuSign, you can send a supported file from a customer’s Files tab. For more information on managing e-signatures, please refer to the rest of our articles in the Kolleno Help Center.
If reconnecting does not resolve the issue, email support@kolleno.com with the DocuSign account name and the error shown in Kolleno.
