Once a customer is linked to CreditSafe and a report has been fetched, their credit picture appears on the customer's Insights tab, in the Credit information panel on the right. This article explains what is shown, how the trend and history work, and where the figures live when a customer belongs to a group.
What the Credit information panel shows
Under a CreditSafe heading:
Credit limit the limit from the credit report, held at customer group or customer level (see below).
Current limit utilization how much of that limit the outstanding balance uses.
Credit Rating CreditSafe's rating band, for example A.
Credit Score the numeric score behind the rating, out of 100.
Risk Level the label CreditSafe attaches to that score, for example Very Low Risk.
Under a separate Manual heading, the panel repeats the limits you set yourself, so the two sit side by side and are never confused with each other. Those are covered in CreditSafe Credit Limits and Utilization Alerts.
Trend chart and event history
The Trend chart plots the credit score over time, across 1m / 3m / 6m / 9m / 1y / All. Each data point represents one report, so the chart fills in at the pace you fetch reports.
Event history lists what changed, with the date, the score at that point, and a short description such as the risk level. It is built from the reports Kolleno has stored, so it starts from the day you connect rather than carrying your customer's full history at CreditSafe.
The report PDF
Each time a report is fetched and something has changed, the PDF is filed in the customer's Files tab as a new version, so you can open the report that a decision was based on months later.
Whether the figures sit on the customer or the customer group
By default Kolleno holds the CreditSafe figures against the customer group. You link one customer typically the parent or trading entity CreditSafe holds the report for and every member of that group shows those same figures, with the panel naming which customer the report came from. This matches how CreditSafe works, it reports on a company, not on each individual billing account.
A customer that is not in a group keeps the figures on itself.
If you would prefer each customer to carry its own CreditSafe figures, let us know before you send your linking file it is a change to how your account is configured, not a setting on the page, and it means one report per customer rather than one per group. Contact us at support@kolleno.com.
Showing other fields from the report
The five values above are what Kolleno configures on connection, but a CreditSafe report contains far more company status, incorporation details, financial figures, director information, and so on. Any of them can be added to this panel for your account.
Tell your Customer Success Manager or contact us at support@kolleno.com with which field you want and where it appears in the report, and we will configure it. Added fields appear on the panel with the label you choose and are populated from the next report onwards.
A field added this way is displayed only it is not otherwise used by Kolleno. The five default values are the ones Kolleno also stores against the customer or group, and those are the ones that a limit, an alert, or a report can be based on.
