Request Stripe SEPA Direct Debit

Request support to enable Stripe SEPA Direct Debit for your customers

If your organization uses Stripe for payments but SEPA Direct Debit isn’t visible, it may not be enabled for your Kolleno entity. This feature allows your EU-based customers to pay via Direct Debit through Stripe.

To activate it, the option must be enabled in both Kolleno and Stripe.


Step 1: Activate SEPA Direct Debit in Stripe

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.

  2. Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner.

  3. Go to Payments → Payment methods or use this direct link:
    https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/payments/settings

  4. Scroll down to find SEPA Direct Debit under the Bank Debits section.

  5. Click Turn on (or Enable) next to SEPA Direct Debit.

  6. Review and confirm your account’s supported currency (EUR) and eligible country settings.

  7. Once enabled, SEPA Direct Debit will appear as an available payment method for your customers.


Step 2: Request Activation in Kolleno

  1. Send an email to with the subject:
    “Request to Enable Stripe SEPA Direct Debit”

  2. Include the following details:

    • Your Kolleno URL

    • Confirmation that Stripe is already connected to your account

    • Please also include the following setting code within your request:

      stripe_sepa_direct_debit
  3. If activation is required for multiple Kolleno instances, please provide the support team with the Kolleno URL for each instance the change is required on.
