Request Stripe BACS Direct Debit

Request support to enable Stripe BACS Direct Debit for your customers

If your organization uses Stripe for payments but BACS Direct Debit isn’t visible, it may not be enabled for your Kolleno entity. This feature allows your UK-based customers to pay via Direct Debit through Stripe.

To activate it, the option must be enabled in both Kolleno and Stripe.

Step 1: Activate BACS Direct Debit in Stripe

  1. Log in to your Stripe account.

  2. Click the gear icon, and then select Settings.

  3. Go to the Payments section and click Payment methods.

  4. Find Bacs Direct Debit and click Turn on.

Step 2: Request Activation in Kolleno

  1. Send an email to with the subject:
    ​“Request to Enable Stripe BACS Direct Debit”

  2. Include the following details:

    • Your Kolleno URL

    • Confirmation that Stripe is already connected to your account

    • Please also include the following setting code within your request:

      stripe_bacs_direct_debit

  3. If activation is required for multiple Kolleno instances, please provide the support team with the Kolleno URL for each instance the change is required on.
