This filter focuses on the earliest unpaid installment in a payment plan.
It helps identify whether the next upcoming payment is approaching, due today, or overdue.

How to Use the Filter

Step 1: Open the Filter Menu

Go to the Customers page and click on Filters & Columns.

Step 2: Select the Filter

In the search bar, type Days before / after any unpaid installment is due and select it from the Payment Plan section.

Step 3: Apply Conditions

You can now choose how to filter customers based on the number of days before or after an installment due date.

How It Works

This filter checks all unpaid installments in a payment plan. The payment plan matches if at least one unpaid installment meets your criteria.

  • Positive values (e.g., 5, 10, 30): Days after the due date has passed (overdue installments)

  • Negative values (e.g., -5, -10, -30): Days before the due date (upcoming installments)

  • Zero (0): The installment is due today

Example 1: Find Overdue Next Installments

Filter: "Days before / after next installment is due" is greater than 5

Result: Returns all payment plans where the next unpaid installment is more than 5 days overdue.

Scenario:

  • Today: January 15, 2024

  • Next installment due date: January 8, 2024

  • Match: Yes (7 days overdue, which is > 5)

Example 2: Find Upcoming Next Installments

Filter: "Days before / after next installment is due" is less than -3

Result: Returns all payment plans where the next unpaid installment is more than 5 days overdue.

Scenario:

  • Today: January 15, 2024

  • Next installment due date: January 8, 2024

  • Match: Yes (7 days overdue, which is > 5)
