Learn how to use the “Days before / after any unpaid installment is due” filter to identify overdue or upcoming payment plan installments.

This filter helps you segment customers based on how many days before or after an unpaid installment is due.


It’s especially useful for managing upcoming payments and overdue accounts efficiently.


How to Use the Filter

Step 1: Open the Filter Menu

Go to the Customers page and click on Filters & Columns.

Step 2: Select the Filter

In the search bar, type Days before / after any unpaid installment is due and select it from the Payment Plan section.

Step 3: Apply Conditions

You can now choose how to filter customers based on the number of days before or after an installment due date.


Example 1: Find Overdue Installments

Filter: "Days before / after any unpaid installment is due" is greater than 30

Result: Returns all payment plans that have at least one unpaid installment that is more than 30 days overdue.

Scenario:

  • Payment Plan has 3 unpaid installments:

    • Installment 1: Due January 1, 2024 (45 days overdue)

    • Installment 2: Due February 1, 2024 (15 days overdue)

    • Installment 3: Due March 1, 2024 (15 days in the future)

  • Today: February 15, 2024

  • Match: Yes (Installment 1 is 45 days overdue, which is > 30)


Example 2: Find Upcoming Installments

Filter: "Days before / after any unpaid installment is due" is less than -7

Result: Returns all payment plans that have at least one unpaid installment due more than 7 days in the future.

Scenario:

  • Payment Plan has 2 unpaid installments:

    • Installment 1: Due February 10, 2024 (5 days overdue)

    • Installment 2: Due March 1, 2024 (15 days in the future)

  • Today: February 15, 2024
