Custom smart fields give you more flexibility when personalizing communications. Unlike the standard fields (e.g., customer name, invoice due date), these are unique fields created specifically for your business.
What This Feature Allows You to Do
Insert custom values into emails: Add business-specific information directly into your templates.
Keep communications consistent: Use the same custom field across different templates without manual updates.
Personalize at scale: Reference company-specific or customer-specific details that are not available in the default smart fields.
How to Use a Custom Smart Field
Open the email editor.
Click Insert Smart Field.
Look for the Custom section — here you’ll see the fields created for your company.
Select a field (e.g., My Custom Field).
Insert it into your email template. When the email is sent, it will automatically populate with the value defined for that field.
How to Set Up Custom Smart Fields
