In some workflows, you may want to send an internal email notification directly to the Account Owner (i.e. a user of Kolleno responsible for a specific customer).
This is possible by using the relevant smart field {{customer_user_assigned:true}}
within the Recipients section of your email action.
β When to Use This
Use this setup when:
You want to notify the account manager or workflow owner of a task being triggered
You want to keep internal stakeholders informed without hardcoding specific emails
π οΈ How to Set It Up
Open the Workflow where you want to send the email.
Add an Action > Send Email
In the To/CC/BCC fields (Recipients), click the smart field picker and enter:
{{customer_user_assigned:true}}
Complete the rest as usual.
Save the change.
π Important Notes
This only works if the targeted customers have an assigned owner (a Kolleno user).
If the workflow has no assigned owner, the email will not be sent.
