Why Date Format Issues Occur

When uploading a CSV file, the date format in your original file may not match what Kolleno displays after import. This happens because different operating systems and spreadsheet programs handle date formatting differently.

For example:

  • Your CSV file shows: 26/03/2022 (DD/MM/YYYY)

  • Kolleno displays: 3/26/22 (M/DD/YY)

To avoid these issues, Kolleno recommends saving your CSV files as CSV UTF-8 format before uploading. This helps maintain consistency across different systems.

Verify column matching:

Continue with the standard CSV upload process as outlined in the CSV Upload article:

  1. Match your CSV columns to Kolleno's template fields

  2. Review any errors

  3. Click Import when ready

  4. Submit to finalize
