You can enforce sign-in on for your customers to access the Customer Portal.
Please note that the Customer Portal is already secure by default:
The unique link is valid for up to 90 days. After that delay, it expires.
Kolleno can reduce that number of days to any number of days that you would be more comfortable with.
The link will only be received by the customer via email or generated by one of your team member.
You always have the ability to invalidate any customer portal link previously generated.
By using the sign-in feature, you introduce an additional step that some of your customers might not do.
In order to activate it, simply go to your company settings > Customer Portal
Then click on Enforce sign-in to access the Customer Portal > Save
That's it! Now when your customers access the Customer Portal they will see a login page that contains your logo:
They can enter any email address that is in the customer's contacts list OR you can enter your email address as a Kolleno user with access to the corresponding Customer Hub:
Your customer will receive an email with a unique code (they can also click on the button "Access now"):
They enter the code, then click on "Login":
and they are then authenticated for 24 hours. That said, they can always manually log out in the top-right:
