When writing an email, you can select the credit notes or invoice(s) it relates to, the same way as for invoices (by clicking on "Transactions"):
You can then automatically attach the credit notes and/or invoice PDFs to your email:

When sending manual emails, you can attach the credit notes and/or invoice PDFs.
