Troubleshooting Email Errors with Invoice PDF Attachments

If you encounter an error while trying to email an invoice to a customer, such as:

Error sending email '[Invoice Ref]' to [Customer Name]. 

Some of the invoice PDFs could not be attached: [Invoice Ref]. Please try again.

If the problem persists, please get in touch with the support.

This usually indicates that the system was unable to generate or attach the invoice PDF correctly.

Steps to Resolve:

  1. Check the PDF Directly in your ERP (such as NetSuite):

    • Go to the affected invoice in your ERP.

    • Try to manually download the PDF.

    • If this fails, there may be an issue with the invoice template or PDF generation settings.

  2. Contact Your ERP Administrator:

    • If PDF generation fails directly from your ERP, please escalate to your internal NetSuite admin for further investigation.
