Pull the History of New Workday Customers

When a scheduled Workday sync creates a customer, Kolleno can also import the earlier invoices, payments and credit notes of that customer.

When a scheduled Workday sync creates a customer in Kolleno, the new customer history pull also imports the earlier invoices, payments and credit notes of that customer. Without it, a scheduled sync skips the records of a customer that is not in Kolleno yet. These records stay missing until they change in Workday.

Turn it on

The setting is off by default. To turn it on, contact Kolleno support.

Workflows can start to chase the open invoices that the pull imports. To review them first, ask Kolleno support to import new customers or new invoices with chasing paused. This applies to all new customers or invoices in your company.

When the pull does not run

Use Batch synchronization for the customer in these cases:

  • The customer was in Kolleno before the setting went on.

  • A sync for a date range created the customer.

  • The pull started inside a blackout window, or a step of the pull failed. Nothing retries it.

If one sync creates more than 1,000 new customers, the pull does not run for any of them. In this case, contact Kolleno support.
