Fix a NetSuite field that Kolleno does not pull

What to do when Kolleno does not pull a NetSuite field, or a field does not show the values you expect.

The field has the label "Not pulled"

NetSuite rejected the field, so Kolleno does not pull it. Kolleno continues to sync the other fields and the records.

  1. In the fields table, put the pointer on the Not pulled label to see the error from NetSuite.

  2. Correct the cause in NetSuite. For example, NetSuite rejects a field that it removed, or a field that it does not let Kolleno search.

  3. Click the edit icon of the field.

  4. Click Check again.

If you do not need the field, stop pulling it. Refer to Add a NetSuite field to Kolleno.

The page shows "Some NetSuite details are hidden"

Kolleno reads NetSuite with the role of the user who connected NetSuite. If the role does not have a permission, Kolleno cannot see some fields or names. The message shows each permission that the role needs.

  1. In NetSuite, go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

  2. Open the role that Kolleno uses.

  3. Add the permissions from the message.

  4. Save the role.

Kolleno updates the list in 10 minutes or less.

The field is not in the list

Sometimes Kolleno cannot load all the NetSuite fields. Then you can add a field with its NetSuite ID:

  1. Click Add field.

  2. Under the search results, type the NetSuite field id, for example custbody_priority.

  3. Type the Name in Kolleno.

  4. Click Use this field.

To find the ID, refer to Find a NetSuite field internal ID.

The field has no values

Kolleno can read a custom field only if NetSuite keeps its value on the record. Refer to NetSuite custom fields must be stored to sync with Kolleno.

A new field gets its values in the next NetSuite sync.

The field shows an ID, not a name

  • Look at Shown as in the fields table. If it is Internal ID, edit the field and select NetSuite name.

  • If it is Your names, give a name to the value. Refer to Name NetSuite values in Kolleno.

  • The label N without a name shows the number of values that have no name.

The preview shows "NetSuite did not return preview rows"

Look at the field configuration and the NetSuite connection, then try again. If a field has the label Not pulled, correct it first.

You cannot remove a field

You cannot remove a field with the label Always pulled or Used by settings.

  • Always pulled: Kolleno uses the field. You can change only how Kolleno shows it.

  • Used by settings: a NetSuite setting in Kolleno reads this field. Put the pointer on the label to see the setting. Change that setting first.
