How to reply to and forward emails from a task

Reply to one recipient or everyone, forward emails to people outside the thread, and keep the full conversation on the task timeline.

Every email linked to a task can be answered directly from the task — there's no need to leave Kolleno or work from a separate inbox. Open the task, find the email on the timeline, and use the composer to respond.

Replying to an email

Click Reply on the email you want to answer. You control exactly who receives your response: reply to just the original sender, or reply to everyone on the thread. The recipient fields are editable, so you can add or remove people before sending.

Your reply is sent from your connected inbox and recorded on the task timeline, so the full conversation history stays in one place for anyone working the task.

Forwarding an email

Use Forward to send an email on to someone who wasn't part of the original thread — a colleague in another department, an account manager, or an external contact. The forwarded email is also recorded on the task timeline.

Other actions

Reply is the default action on an email. Other action types — such as creating a call or an internal note — are available under the More menu next to it.
