Managing Customer Tags

How to view, edit, delete, and manage customer tags from the Tag Manager.

This article explains how to manage existing tags for your customers, including viewing, editing, and deleting tags. For more information on managing your tags, please refer to the rest of the articles in the Tags Collection.


Managing Tags in the Main Category View

In the Tags column, you will see the option to manually add a tag. This opens the Tag Manager, where you can view and manage all available tags.

The Tag manager Tab will display all of the amiable tags for your company.

At the bottom of this screen, select Manage tags to open the Tag Manager.


Viewing and Managing Tags

Once the Manage tags screen opens, you will see all your existing tags in a table format including Category, Tag, Description, and Color. You will also see edit and delete icons next to each tag.

Editing a Tag

  1. Click the edit icon next to the tag.

  2. A pop-up window called Edit tag will appear.

  3. Update the name, description, category, or color as needed.

  4. Select Save to confirm your changes.


Deleting a Tag

  1. Select the delete icon next to the tag you want to remove.

  2. A confirmation pop-up will appear.

  3. Select Delete to finalize the removal.


Creating a New Tag

If you need to add a new tag, you can select the Create tag button in the bottom right corner of the Manage tags screen.
