To use Kolleno's Open API, you'll need an API key linked to a specific user account.
Here's how to request one:
Step 1: Contact Support
Send an email to support@kolleno.com or message us via the in-app chat.
Include the following details:
Subject: Request for Open API Key
Your Company Name
Email address of the user the API key will be linked to
⚠️ Important: All actions performed using the API will be executed under the user account you provide.
Step 2: Choose the Right User
You have two options:
Use an existing user account (e.g., your own or a colleague’s).
Create a dedicated user for API purposes ⚠️
Important: make sure that the user as with the ADMIN role to your Kolleno instance. This will allow you to perform all CRUD operations (create/read/update/delete)

Creating a dedicated user makes it easier to manage and track automated actions, especially when team members change.
Step 3: Wait for Confirmation
Our team will generate your API key and send it securely to the email address associated with the provided user.
The email will contain a one-time link to view the Client Secret. Please save it securely.
