Assigning Customer Portfolios to Email Profiles

Limit access to Email Profiles to specific Customer Portfolios.

In Kolleno, you can assign specific customer portfolios to individual email profiles to ensure communications are sent using the correct email account. By default, email profiles are available for all customers, but this can be restricted to designated portfolios for better organization and security.

How to Assign Customer Portfolios to an Email Profile

Follow these steps to configure customer portfolio assignments:

  1. Access the Desired Email Profile

    • Navigate to the email profile you want to configure.

  2. Open the Portfolio Assignment Settings

    • Click the "Assign to portfolios" option.

  3. Toggle Off Default Availability

    • Untoggle the "Available to all customer portfolios" setting.

  4. Select Specific Portfolios

    • Choose the customer portfolios that should have access to this email profile.

Important Notes

  • Assigning Doesn’t Restrict Other Profiles: Assigning an email profile to a portfolio does not automatically restrict other email profiles from accessing the same portfolio.

  • Explicit Restriction: To prevent other email profiles from being used for a portfolio, ensure those profiles are also restricted by following the same steps.

By customizing portfolio assignments, you maintain precise control over which email profiles are used to communicate with specific customer groups, streamlining operations and enhancing communication accuracy.
