Why will an email fail to send from Kolleno?

  • The most common reason an email fails to send is the recipient email address is invalid.

  • Secondly, your email connection may be down.

Will Kolleno resend my email if it fails to send?

  • Yes, the Kolleno system will retry every 30 minutes to resend the email if sent from a workflow.

How to fix a failed email address in Kolleno?

  • You can either change/add a new email address to the contact in Kolleno.

  • You can amend the contact in your ERP/accounting system and it will update in Kolleno.

  • You can add a new contact in Kolleno or in your ERP/accounting system.

  • You can mark another contact as primary (you do not have to deactivate the other primary contact, Kolleno will send to multiple primary contacts), or similar if sending to specific contact positions.

Can I manually retry a failed email sent manually?

  • Yes, if the Kolleno system detects that a retry is possible, you will see a "Retry sending" option in the ellipses menu of the failed email.

  • Selecting this option will trigger an immediate resend attempt of the email.
