Task Manager supports collaborative resolution. You can involve teammates without losing accountability for the overall case.

Clear assignment and handoff mechanisms ensure everyone knows what they need to do next.

Assign an Action to a colleague

  1. Open the Query.

  2. Click New Action.

  3. Choose or create the action (call, email, note, etc.).

  4. Set the assignee to your colleague.

  5. Add Instructions so the assignee knows exactly what to do.

  6. Save.

Once saved, the Action will appear for your colleague in their "My queries" workspace, and your status may shift to reflect that you're waiting on them.

Change the Query Owner

If you're not the right person to lead the resolution, update the Query Owner field in the Query details panel and select another teammate.

Status when multiple people are involved

  • The system uses "User Status Recalculation" logic. For example, if you (the Owner) assign an action to a colleague, your status moves to "Waiting". Once they complete their task, the query moves back to "In Progress" or "Ready to Close" for you
