When Kolleno imports contacts from Xero, it uses the contact structure defined in Xero to determine roles.
The Primary person in Xero is imported as the Primary contact in Kolleno
Any Additional people in Xero are imported as Non-primary contacts in Kolleno
This ensures Kolleno always knows which contact should be used as the main point of communication.
What Happens After the Import
After contacts are synced into Kolleno:
You can manually change which contact is marked as Primary
Your manual selection is preserved and will not be overwritten by future Xero syncs
Contact details such as name and email will continue to sync from Xero
This gives you full control while keeping your data up to date.
