Kolleno automatically identifies workflows that target the same customers or invoices based on their filter conditions.
The alert is designed to prevent unintended duplicate actions. If two workflows include the same customers, invoices, or records, both may attempt to send communications, apply task actions, or trigger automation simultaneously.
This helps you maintain clean, predictable automation behaviour.
Where does the alert appear?
The check is performed when a workflow trigger node is created or edited.
Alerts are displayed directly in the Alerts column on the workflow list page, making it easy to spot potential conflicts.
Example of how overlapping filters occur
Certain conditions can unintentionally overlap.
For example:
Selecting “Balance overdue is greater than 0”
and “Balance overdue is less than 0” inside the same workflow.
Below is an example filter configuration to illustrate how overlaps may happen:
Troubleshooting steps
Review the filter conditions in your workflow.
Compare the workflows listed inside the alert.
Adjust filter values so they target the unique set of customers or invoices.
Consider merging workflows if they have similar logic.
If the overlap is intentional, you may safely ignore the alert.
