There are two ways you can add images to your communication

  1. By inserting the image directly into the message

  2. By uploading the image as an attachment

Inserting an image in the content of the message

Simply drag and drop the image onto the editor to insert it into the message. You will notice that the editor indicates that you can drop the file when it detects a hover.

And then once the image has been dropped the editor will include it in the message content

Adding an attachment to the message

To include an image as an attachment to the message we need to use the Attach File button. Note that this feature is only supported for certain communication types for example Email.

You can either click on the paperclip to go directly to picking a file to attach or you can select the arrow to show more options.

From this menu we can control if invoice PDF’s should be included as well. For now we will focus on adding our image as an attachment so we will go with Upload file.

Once your file is uploaded you will notice a card indicating that a file has been attached alongside the option to view all attachments

Clicking on View Attachments will show you a more detailed view of all the attachments on this communication.
