How to set up a strategy?

This article will explain how to set up a strategy and what features are available in the strategy function

Setting up strategies in the platform is a straight forward simple task:

  1. Go into the automation option on the side menu

  2. Select the Strategies tab and select the “create new strategy” button

    1. To edit an already existing strategy, select a previously named strategy and select the ellipses once the drop-down menu appears select edit

  3. Once the collection strategy window opens, this will allow you to name the strategy, decide the trigger settings (min. number of days overdue &min invoice value), when the strategy should start, and what actions should stop a strategy

    1. You can select if you would like the strategy to take account of all invoices, only due invoice or overdue invoices. This is very helpful when creating multiple strategies and you want to cover a specific invoice.

  4. To add steps click the “New step” button

    1. To add in steps between your strategy or rearrange steps. Once the step has been created select the ellipsis on the right had side and move the step up or down.


  5. Select the communication type, the template, and what time the contact should be sent then save the step

This will take you back to see the strategy steps and here is when you can decide how long the gap is between the strategy steps
