Purpose
The Recent sign-ins panel shows you where your own Kolleno account has been signed in over the last 7 days, and lets you end them: one at a time, or all at once.
Use it when you want to check that nobody else has been in your account, when you have received an email from us about a sign-in you do not recognize, or when you have signed in on a shared or borrowed computer and want to make sure that session is closed.
Two things are worth knowing before you read the list. These are sign-ins, not devices that are online right now: Kolleno cannot tell whether a browser is still open, so the panel reports when each sign-in was made and when it was last used, and nothing more. And a sign-in stays valid for up to 7 days, even if the browser it was made in has since been closed, so seeing an old laptop in the list does not mean somebody is using it.
The panel covers your account only. It is not an audit trail of your colleagues, and there is nothing here that lets you see or end anyone else's sessions.
How to access
1. Sign in to Kolleno in your browser.
2. Open the user menu at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar and choose Personal settings.
3. In the list of settings on the left, select Recent sign-ins.
The list loads on its own and refreshes every time you open the panel, so what you see is the current picture rather than anything cached from your last visit.
What you can see
Each row in the list is one sign-in to your account, most recently used first. A row shows:
What you see | What it means |
Browser and operating system | For example, "Chrome on macOS". The browser family and platform the sign-in came from. The panel shows the family rather than the exact version, so a routine browser update never looks like a new device. |
Signed in [date and time] from [IP address] | When the sign-in happened and the network address it came from. Hover over the date to see it with your time zone. |
Last used [date and time] | The last time that sign-in renewed its access to Kolleno. This happens about once an hour while somebody is using it, so it can trail real activity by up to an hour. It is never proof that somebody is on the account this minute. |
This device | The sign-in you are using right now to read this page. |
Signed out | The sign-in has been ended and can no longer reach your account. |
Signing out | The sign-in has been ended but will stop working within the hour. See the note below on older sign-ins. |
The list holds up to 50 sign-ins. Anything older than 7 days is left out because it can no longer be used to reach your account.
What you can do
Sign out of one device
Every row carries a Sign out button, except the one you are using now and any that have already ended. Select it, then confirm. The dialog names the sign-in you picked, because two rows can look almost identical.
Most sign-ins stop working immediately, the moment whoever holds them next does anything in Kolleno.
Sign out of all devices
Select Sign out of all devices at the top of the panel. Every sign-in on your account ends immediately, including the one you are using, so you will be returned to the sign-in screen and will need to sign in again.
This takes effect straight away for every sign-in.
Change your password
If you think somebody else knows your password, change it rather than only signing out. Signing out does not stop anyone who knows your password from signing straight back in.
Changing your password ends every sign-in on your account by itself, immediately, and keeps the browser you changed it in signed in.
You will find it under Personal settings > Password. If you sign in to Kolleno through your company's single sign-on provider, that option will not be there, and you should change your password with your identity provider and speak to your IT team.
