Kolleno VPAT & Accessibility Conformance Report

Learn about Kolleno's VPAT report, WCAG 2.1 AA conformance rating, known limitations, and how to request a copy.

If your organization reviews software for accessibility compliance, you may need a VPAT. Kolleno has one, and it is available on request.

What Is a VPAT?

A VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) is the industry-standard report format for describing, criterion by criterion, how a product performs against accessibility standards. It is the document most procurement and compliance teams expect to see when evaluating software accessibility.

Kolleno's VPAT at a Glance

  • Report format: VPAT® 2.4, presented as an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR)

  • Standards assessed: WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA; European EN 301 549 (v3.2.1, 2021)

  • Canadian alignment: Accessible Canada Act, Ontario's AODA, and provincial frameworks in Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia

  • Current edition: Canadian edition, June 2026

What the Report Says

Each criterion in a VPAT is rated on a simple scale: Supports, Partially supports, Does not support, or Not applicable.

In Kolleno's report, every applicable WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA criterion is rated Supports. Criteria covering audio and video content are marked Not Applicable, as Kolleno does not contain audio or video media.

Kolleno releases product updates frequently, so the report records the exact product version assessed and is refreshed as the product evolves.

Known Limitations

We prefer to state these plainly rather than bury them in footnotes:

  • Mobile/narrow screens: On very narrow screens (e.g. phones), some pages require horizontal scrolling (Reflow criterion, 1.4.10). Kolleno is designed for laptop and desktop use.

  • Multiple navigation routes: Pages are reached via the main navigation menu. A second route (such as a global page directory) is not yet available for every page (Multiple Ways criterion, 2.4.5).
