Use this process to request a sandbox holderName update for testing failed card and payment method on file (PMoF) scenarios.

When to use

  • You need to validate failure paths (declines, validation errors, retries).

  • You are testing in sandbox only.

  • Confirms your system handles failed card/PMoF charges correctly.

  • Verifies retry, dunning, alerts, and error messaging.

  • Helps reproduce issues consistently for QA/UAT/regression testing.

How it works

  1. Submit request to support with sandbox company instance and test details.

  2. Support confirms scope and applies sandbox setup.

  3. Run your failure tests and verify expected behavior.

  4. Share logs/results if follow-up tuning is needed.

What to send support

  1. Sandbox Kolleno Company instance.

  2. Customer ID (share URL from Kolleno).

  3. Requested holderName value (see: https://docs.adyen.com/development-resources/testing/result-codes/).

  4. Whether setup is temporary or persistent in sandbox
