Use workflow filters to capture certain words from inbound emails to create action items

Are you looking to assign all emails received related to taxes to specific users?

Or create a Task if an email received is about upgrading a subscription?

If so, here is a neat way to ensure nothing is missed by creating an "email received" workflow.

One way is to create a portfolio for such emails, or automatically create a tag (example below).

To achieve this, use a comma in “Subject” and “Body text” filters to work as an OR operator. ”Undeliverable,couldn't be delivered,error message”.

Here, the filter will look for any of these expressions:

  • Undeliverable

  • couldn't be delivered

  • error message

Please note that it is case-sensitive.
